Happy Holy Days

So I don't really know if St. Patrick's Day counts as a holy day, but I thought I'd share some pictures from this weeks holidays. Okay, so I don't have any pictures from Easter, but it was fun. We had dinner with friends. Who wants to see pictures of a bunch of people eating anyway! Here are our pictures from our St. Patty's extravaganza....

Nothing says St. Patrick's Day like green food dye in an energy drink and heading off to work!!!

Robert Andrus and me proving you don't need a suntan if you're Irish!

Noodle representing his colors. Okay, so I know it's mean, but I only made him wear it for the picture. Back of PETA! So much for our extravaganza, it was more like Robert Andrus came over right after I got off work and right before Bear left for work and we desperately celebrated anyway we could, but doesn't that describe most parties??? Hope you all had a great weak.

WANTED

CRIMINAL ACT
I was jolted from my slumber early this morning. There was rustling in the kitchen and music from the "Village People" playing in the background. Imagine the electricity of fear that spread throughout my body. I grabbed my .22 caliber pistol. I suddenly realized the song playing was "YMCA". So I upgraded to a shotgun, this was no ordinary thief. I grabbed my camera so I could get a picture of this lunatic. I jumped around the corner. Shotgun and camera in hand. But alas, "YMCA" hit its chorus. I shuttered in fear. "Y", yes why indeed! I froze in shear panic, but managed to capture a photo of Twinkle Toes. This is the only picture I have of this "Fairy Footed Thief". He managed to steal a pair of my wifes underwear and an apple fritter (see picture) If anyone has any information please let us know.

Snowboarding Adventure

Jessica came to visit me a couple weeks ago and we went snowboarding. Although not quite the crazy adventure Sarah had skiing through mine shafts, we had a lot of fun. I hadn't been snowboarding since I left my lovely Logan, UT six years ago and Jessica had never been. I had quite the re-learning curve of my own and might not have been the best teacher/snowboard instructor for Jessica, but we both came out alive!

Please notice Jessica's excellent form in this picture on the right. She was picking up the sport very fast. Neither one of us fell getting off the lift, which is a major accomplishment for a first timer and all was going well, untill...

She built up a little too much speed. Someone should have taught her to carve! Oops... Oh well, being the loving sister I am, I made sure to ask her if she was alright before pulling out the camera and taking pictures of her wipeout!

I still get a kick out of how posed she looked while laying in the snow trying not to die. Note to Jessica... invest in ski school. Note to everyone else... don't have me teach you how to snowboard!
Like I said before, we made it out alive with no visible scars or permanent brain damage. We had a lot of fun and all are welcome to visit and try out your skills with the board. Although, it's usually not the board that's the problem, it's the mountain!!!

Dead Noon Update

For those of you that don't know, Lionsgate was finally able to finish the last scene of the movie they wanted to add to Dead Noon. In early February, they flew Bear and the director, Andy Wiest, to L.A. to film. Lionsgate's main reason for the additional scene was they wanted to add a star to the credits.

The star they got is Kane Hodder. Don't feel bad if you don't know him. I didn't either, but you might recognize him as his other name Jason Voorhes. That's right, the hockey mask wearing killer from the Friday the 13th movies. He might not be a household name, but the people we're marketing this movie to will know who he is and it will help sell the movie. Yay!!!

Bear said he had a great time and it was really fun to work with Kane. He was a great guy and it was nice to be flown out by a studio to film... even if it wasn't first class. The studio is taking out some of our favorite scenes, but we're trying to look on the bright side. After all, it's not very often you can sell a movie made for $4,000!!!! The movie is scheduled to be released in October. For horror movies, that is an honor, because October is the best slot. We'll update you when we find out more.

Commenting

I didn't realize you had to have a google account to leave a comment. I changed it so anyone could comment. Hopefully that doesn't leave this sight open to spam and porn invites. We'll see how it goes! It should be easier for everyone now. Okay, so maybe I was the only one having a problem with it. Stop laughing at me. I can't hear you anyways!

Getting this Going

I didn't email the address for this blog to anyone after the first post, because I was afraid it would be awhile till I could get to it again. Looks like I was right. Hopefully I will be better about it and I finally gave Bear the logon info so he could post too, because he is better at keeping up on these things than me. Unfortunately, he only post late at night after he gets home from work, so most of his posts won't make sense. Just smile and write nice comments, so he feels good about himself.
Most of you probably know all this stuff, but I wanted to start the blog off with a brief historical summary.

We married in Paskenta, California on September 9, 2006.

We went to Kauai on our honeymoon. I highly reccommend it. I don't know about the other islands of Hawaii, but this one live up to all the hype.

Shortly after that, we moved from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, UT. We miss our friends, but do not miss the traffic, pollution or over-all caliber of people that seem drawn to L.A.

We are currently enjoying life. As always, we are trying not to work too hard. Bear is working for UPS and I'm working for a local health/supplement store. We have a couple of movie oppurtunities coming up that will hopefully pan out. We always love to see family and friends, so stop on by. Believe us, we love to take trips... so we'll be trying to get out and see all of you. Noodle says hi and is mad he was only featured in one picture! Now he's biting me...GOTTA GO!!!
